    Van was parked after a long trip (~700 miles) and no trouble noted at that point. Next time the van was driven there was a rubbing sound with frequency at tire speed and a rattling sound. Checked wheel well and found piece of broken front spring in the passenger wheel well, still tangled with the strut assembly, which we removed so we could drive home.
