My daughter was riding rear facing in her sunshine kids radian 80xtsl. When i looked back in the rear view mirror i noticed that she was wiggling her foot on the latch buckle, and asked he to stop. When we pulled into a parking space and i went to take her out of her seat i noticed that she had actually unlatched the seat simply by pushing on it with her feet! I have a sunshine kids radian xtsl installed with latch rear facing in my honda odyssey. Due to the location of the release lever for the latch strap, my son is able to easily loosen the strap with his foot while we are driving. It also loosens if he accidentally hits it with his food when climbing into the seat. As a cpst, i feel that this is a major design flaw. While i am well aware that i can install the seat…
