The lift gate gas filled struts on our 2007 honda odyssey have failed. The lift gate will not stay open to pack the van for trips and requires some sort of prop to stay open. The gate has fallen twice off the prop and hit me, not seriously, but it hurt. It's heavy. I see that later models have a recall associated with similar problems but the 2007 does not as of yet.
