My van makes a loud metallic grinding noise after the first 5 to 15 minutes of driving. Repeated visits to dealership (and after a brake pad change) have produced no change. Honda master technicians test drove the vehicle twice and have acknowledged issue and claim that there is no known problem or recall. They have basically said that they cannot do anything. Several websites and discussion boards point to this…

Brakes automatically applied during acceleration from 20-50 while entering busy highway slowing vehicle nearly to a stop. Managed to avoid approaching traffic and limp off the highway at the next exit. Problem recurred as i took side road back home. Problem also recurred as i took vehicle to dealer to diagnose the following morning. Dealer was unable to recreate the problem or provide solution. Problem persisted and…

Soft brakes. I bled the brakes, put new brake pads rotors and bled the brakes again same problem. These are the softest brakes that i've ever felt in a vehicle. I bought a 2015 honda accord and the brakes on that feel like they're high performance compared to this honda odyssey. These brakes are terrible and i will not buy another honda minivan because there are many many honda odyssey owners out there with the same…

When braking the front end of the vehicle shakes severely. Honda dealers claim that "these vans just have a bad brake design" and charge to re-surface the rotors approximately every twelve to fourteen thousand miles. I'm amazed that there haven't been more accidents caused by this flaw. With the severe shaking there is also dramatic brake fading, especially driving on any downhill slope. We are always hesitant to…

First complaint was described by the dealers as a humming in the transmission. My description is like a kickback or hard downshifting. Next complaint is brakes seem like you apply foot to pedal and it seems like your not going to stop while foot is all the way down. Then there's like a sound of something releasing or letting go. *tr
