    The vehicle was in motion on a street and normally decelerating from 30 mph towards a stop light. Without warning the car suddenly decelerated and stalled the engine. It was as if the transmission shifted into park. This happened three other times and eventually, the car would not shift into reverse despite indicating that it was in reverse.
