I bought 2009 honda odyssey, but in 3 months, whenever i push brake on the down hill road, the brake will have very big noise and can not stop the car right away. I send to honda dealer for repair, they told me that 2009 odyssey has this kind of issue and can not be fixed, it is designed issue, so i hope you can do further investigation. *tr

Parking Brake
2007 honda odyssey. Rear brake cables flex while turning causing loud audible sound from rear of vehicle. Honda at first claimed this is normal, but also stated there is no known correction for the issue at this time. Obviously a design defect for honda has not figured out a way to fix. Cable brake issue would and does, cause me great concern especially if there is no known fix. *tr

Issues with power steering. When driving long distances a loud noise will start emitting from power steering. This has happened on multiple occasions over last five years. Have taken my honda to at least two dealerships about problem. Never diagnosed until recently. Was told that power steering pump is defective. Honda states no longer under warranty. Very expensive repair. Dealership will not help with cost.…

Brakes are too soft. Had accident twice already because brakes dont react like they are suppose to. You have to push the brake down really hard. With that also said transmission has been a problem since day 1. You hear a loud noise when you change gears. Went to the honda dealer and they said its normal. I dont think this should be making loud grunting noise. *tr

Parking Brake
We bought the 2008 honda odyssey new and immediately noticed a metallic scraping sound when decelerating with foot on the brake pedal. It is more pronounced in the rear seat. We had the honda service shop check it,and they told us that it was normal. Also, when braking, there is quite a bit of travel to the brake pedal, and a spongy feel to the pedal, making the driver feel that the vehicle is not going to stop in time.…

I have a honda odyssey 2008 and a major brake problem; the brakes have become so soft it would only stop if the pedal is pushed all the way to floor, which make it difficult to stop in case of emergency. I took the car to dealership numerous times and reported the issue but they have not fixed the problem yet. I have three toddlers and my wife drives the car. This is most hazardous situation i am facing and honda…
